Sami is a Palestinian food entrepreneur. His connection with the PFFA began during the 2023 QCP film festival. He recently co-founded a community kitchen that supports impact-driven entrepreneurs and innovators transform their culinary ideas into sustainable businesses. Sami brings years of experience working within both NGOs and corporates to support the PFFA with its vision to bring a variety of Palestinian and indigenous stories to a European audience.
Rakan is a Palestinian impact professional with expertise in filmmaking. As a filmmaker, he has worked on diverse projects, including video installations, narrative shorts, and documentaries. He co-founded the independent studio WaxWing in London and has collaborated with Director Carol Mansour and Producer Muna Khalidi on documenting the experiences of second-generation Palestinian refugees in Beirut. Currently, Rakan supports Goodwell Investments, focusing on growth equity in Africa.
Dedicated to social activism and community involvement, Fatin has participated in various social causes, striving to make a difference in the world around her. With prior experience in politics, she has honed her skills in advocating for marginalised communities and highlighting issues that are often overlooked. While passionate about her work, Fatin remains actively involved in collaborations that result in effective positive change.
